The Fertility Timeline Nobody Talks About

Most women learn how their fertility works the year they start trying. There is a better, less terrifying timeline.

The Fertility Timeline Nobody Talks About

The number that gets thrown around — 35 — was extrapolated from French birth records in the 1700s. It is not wrong, exactly. It is just not a personal answer.

Your fertility is a story told in three numbers: AMH, antral follicle count, and your own family history. None of them require trying to conceive to learn.

"Fertility is not a cliff. It is a slope. The point is to know where you are standing on it."

This is not an argument for panic, and it is certainly not an argument for an IVF cycle in your twenties. It is an argument for information.
